An organization I work for has put on a contest with a prize of $500. The contest asks people to respond to the question ‘what would change if your government was 75% women?’ It is basically an exercise in imagining this scenario positively and then creating your own video.
The video is supposed to be up to 2 minutes long.
The deadline is April 15th, 2012.
The finalist videos will be judged by Carolyn Bennett (Liberal), Elizabeth May (Green), Maria Mourani (BQ), Denise Savoie (NDP), and Wai Young (Conservative)
Hey everybody! Check out this video. I co-created it along with some other women. It is a contest we are launching for the month of March. The submissions will be judged by a panel of female politicians from Canada - including Elizabeth May! The winner will receive a prize of 500$
I’m really excited about this project as a way of starting conversation about getting more women into politics, and what politics could look like in this event! I want to hear from you! I want to hear from your friends!
Please SPREAD THE WORD!
